SAINT MATTHEW WOMEN

MISSION WITHIN GROUPS

We have a variety of Mission Within groups for women that meet regularly. Choose one that interests you and get plugged in!

We can't wait to meet you!

  • the early risers

    please contact for details

A bible-based study and prayer group.

They greet every Wednesday morning with reading God's word and by asking for His direction and guidance to glean what He wants us to know. Their time is divided between directed Bible reading and prayer. This group is always open to new participants and invites anyone who wants to explore God's daily presence and the application of Hid word to your daily lives to join us.

Please contact Gwen Ross for more information.

  • gather group

Join your fellow Saint Matthew women for a small group gathering to discuss a mixture of articles, theological reflections, devotions, and stories of comfort and challenge that help you to grow in faith and engage in ministry and action. • prayer shawl ministry

    please contact for details

The Saint Matthew Prayer Shawl Ministry is a group of knitters and crocheters who create beautiful prayer shawls- many including the triune stitch representing the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The shawls are prayed over and given to those in need of being wrapped in God's love, the abiding peace of Jesus, and the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

This casual group is for all levels. Beginners are welcome, and we will help guide you along! Shawls are given to the Saint Matthew Care Ministry to distribute as the work is completed.

Please contact Ann Dunn for more information.

    please contact for details

Wine, Women, & the Word is a group of great ladies experiencing the joys of mid-life. Over the year are four studies and one summer event. This is a "not so small" group with book formats that make it easy if someone can't attend all sessions.

Please contact Renate Schoenberg for more information.

  • labor of love

Come design and create clothes for those in need- girls' dresses and shorts for boys. We meet once a month to sew, but you can also just cut out fabric, pin on trims, put in elastic, or iron. Join in this labor of love!

We have supplies ready to go, but always need gently used sheets and pillowcases as well as any trims and fabrics you might have or wish to donate!

Please contact Sue Lape for more information.
