February 8 | 9am-12pm | SMLC Teen Center
All life is a threshold. We move from season to season, experiencing changes both outward and inward. We can navigate life’s thresholds well when we move through them with intention. Join us for a retreat February 8th to spend time with God together and to reflect on where you have come from, where you are going, and what it looks like to root in the present.
We are so excited to have Kristen Kludt; author, speaker and creator of the popular Field Guides for the Way kits, coming to guest speak and guide us through a morning of reflection and spiritual practice. She speaks with passion and gentleness, creating safe spaces for groups to have honest, compelling conversation and to dive into spiritual practice together. Kristen believes we learn best through stories and practice and guides based on this belief.
Tickets are $15 if you pre-register, $20 at the door.
You will also have the option to pre-order your own Field Guides for the Way kit for $45, get one at the event for $50, or order online afterward for $59.
We have a variety of Mission Within groups for women that meet regularly. Choose one that interests you and get plugged in!
We can't wait to meet you!
Come and join WOW A dynamic group of women that offer you a safe place to come and meet new people and build relationships through bible study, where we can share our faith as we walk beside one another in our challenges, disappointments, fears, and joys.
This session we will be studying Beth Moore’s Children of the Day. The New Testament believers carried the Spirit of God as they walked along the shores of Thessalonica, just as you carry that light today. Your circumstances and conditions are not coincidental in your journey. God's timing is impeccable. Join Beth on the Thessalonian shores as you face real crises, real medical diagnoses, real afflictions, real relationships, real doubts, real concerns, and real fears. Let the tide was your eyes with fresh vision. Don't let pride or timidity come between you and the presence of God. Press in tightly. This is your journey to the shores of Thessalonica where you'll write your name in the sand.
A bible-based study and prayer group.
They greet every Wednesday morning with reading God's word and by asking for Hid direction and guidance to glean what He wants us to know. Their time is divided between directed Bible reading and prayer. This group is always open to new participants and invites anyone who wants to explore God's daily presence and the application of Hid word to your daily lives to join us.

The Saint Matthew Prayer Shawl Ministry is a group of knitters and crocheters who create beautiful prayer shawls- many including the triune stitch representing the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The shawls are prayed over and given to those in need of being wrapped in God's love, the abiding peace of Jesus, and the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
This casual group is for all levels. Beginners are welcome, and we will help guide you along! Shawls are given to the Saint Matthew Care Ministry to distribute as the work is completed.

Share your joy of serving!
This group has a service gathering on Tuesday mornings. On the second Friday of each month, we provide a meal for YEAH!, a year round shelter for 18-25 year olds. We also prepare snack bags to carry a person through the day. Our other service is organizing the all congregation Layette Ministry contributions for the County Hospital in Martinez.
