KINDERGARTEN: BLESSING THE BACKPACKS

New Kindergarteners and their families are invited to bring their school backpacks to church to be blessed during worship in this first milestone of the school year. Backpacks represent work that will be required of these new students, and as in every aspect of life, we seek to bring these before God for blessing. Parents and children will be celebrated together in the Sanctuary on a Sunday morning, and then kids will be dismissed to join their class.
